One of the downsides of being popular is that people tend to hate on you based on hearsay alone. This applies to a lot of things, and CrossFit is no exemption. Because of its increasing popularity, a lot of myths and misconceptions have been made up by non-CrossFitters to try to ruin its reputation.

1. ONLY HARDCORE ATHLETES CAN HANDLE IT

Sure, some of the workouts may look a little challenging and the first time you set foot in a box seeing all the shirtless, and sports-bra-clad sculpted bodies everywhere might make you feel like you’ve just set foot into some Olympic quasi powerlifting den. But rest assured they don’t have any more gold medals than you do.
