3. I’LL GET HURT
CrossFit has unjustly developed a bad rep in this department – It is important to remember that with any sporting activity, there’s always a risk of injury and problems WILL occur when you go against the better judgement of your coaches and even yourself!
CrossFit is designed to help strengthen muscles and prevent injury, through a range of exercises set up to mimic everyday movements.
Be sure to listen to your body – If something doesn’t feel right, stop! Allow yourself to recover and SPEAK UP! – Let your trainers know! They will be more than happy to prescribe another exercise and work on strengthening these areas with you.
